What is it all about?
Chineses culture is rich and colorful.
It is one of the oldest and most complex cultures of the word that covers a fascinating array of arts, literature and philosophies.
While diverse, the Chinese traditional culture is nevertheless relatively unitary. The major source of influence can be traced back to schools of thoughts such as Taoism and Confucianism; as well as philosophical works like I Ching.
We’ll showcase aspects of the influence, in order to enable better appreciation of the culture. They include:

China's history
Chinese civilization originated along the Yellow River valley in the Neolithic era, but the written history of China begins with the Shang Dynasty (ca. 1600 BC - ca. 1100 BC). The chineses culture is what it is partly due to the long history. The following are some peirods in the history that Chinese like to talk about.

Yin & Yang
It goes beyong simple notion of 'Dragon Chinese' when we talk about the chinese culture. If we had to summarize the culture into a highly condensed phrase, then we would say it is yin and yang.
Chinese Philosophies & Mindset
The major source of influence on the Chinese culture and mindset is the belief system based on yingyang. It forms the theme of the world's oldest surviving book I Ching, also known as Yijing, and has tremdoulsy impact on Chinese philosophies, from Taoism to Confucianism. The belief system is deep-rooted in the culture, and is still heavily inflencing how Chinese think and behave today.
